10 reasons people won’t visit your church

August 3, 2008

If we could get feedback from people to find out why people don’t want to visit our churches, what would we do with the responses? Would we just chalk it up as nonsense?

I had the privilege of attending the First Impressions conference a few years back. Here are a few things I learned from this conference.

1. Your church lacks organization.

2. Your service is dead.

3. Your church is not friendly.

4. Your church is UGLY.

5. No parking.

6. Your music is dead.

7. Your preaching is powerless and boring.

8. Your website is terrible.

9. Your church isn’t involved in the community.

10. Your church isn’t active in ministry.
